One of the teenagers accused of killing a Fairfield Spanish teacher last year will make a court appearance this week.

Willard Miller, 17, will appear in a Jefferson County court on Wednesday and request that evidence recovered from his home and cell phone be suppressed.

Miller and 17-year-old Jeremy Goodale have each been charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit a forcible felony. Authorities say the two teenagers planned and carried out the murder of 66-year-old Nohema Graber last November while she was taking a walk in Chautauqua State Park.

Miller’s jury trial is scheduled to begin next March in Council Bluffs.

Goodale’s trial is scheduled for December 3rd in Davenport but his lawyers have filed a motion asking for a continuance.
