A Hedrick man was arrested after an investigation implicated him in sexually abusing at least seven victims, according to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
31-year-old Matthew Robert Reynolds has been charged with five counts of third-degree sex abuse in Jefferson County. In Keokuk County, Reynolds faces one count of second-degree sex abuse and 14 counts of third-degree sex abuse.
Law enforcement says Reynolds’ victims include five adult women and two girls aged two and 14 at the time of the abuse. The numerous incidents of sexual abuse occurred from 2012 to 2020.
Reynolds is accused of sodomizing multiple victims with deer antlers, including the two-year-old child. Investigators say DNA confirms the accusations.
Reynolds is currently in the Keokuk County Jail on a $330,000 cash-only bond.
The DCI says the investigation is ongoing.
