Mediapolis rallies past Warriors to win 9-5

The 2A (RV) Mediapolis Bulldogs came back to knock off the Van Buren County Warriors 9-5

The Warriors would lead for five of the seven innings played between the Warriors and Bulldogs. After a Mediapolis run in the top of the first, the Warriors would have the answer in the bottom of the first. The Warriors would see Dylan Richardson and Lucas Fett drive in runs as the Warriors lead 2-1 after the first. The Warriors would add to the lead after Jackson Manning tossed a scoreless second inning. Bailey Roen and Jackson Manning would drive in runs as the Warriors lead 4-1 after two innings. Over the next couple of innings, both teams would score a run for the Warriors Manning collected his second RBI. Going to the sixth the Warriors lead 5-2. The sixth inning is where the tide would turn in the Bulldogs’ favor. The Bulldogs would tie the game in the sixth at 5 all. The Bulldogs capitalized on two Warrior errors, a walk and one hit in the sixth. The Warriors would get the first two runners on in the bottom of the sixth but would strand both. The Bulldogs capped off their rally in the seventh when they tacked on four more runs. The Bulldogs used 3 walks, 2 Warrior errors, and a hit to lead 9-5. Warriors would strand one runner in the seventh and fell 9-5.

With the win the Bulldogs are 15-0, Warriors fell to 7-10
