Jackson Township Fire Department along with five other fire departments was called to the scene at 2014 340th st. in Argyle, Iowa
Lee County on Thursday Afternoon.Just before 3:00 pm.
When arriving at the scene they had a large garage completely engulfed in flames.They transported water by tanker trucks from Joyce Park in Keokuk and had the fire under control fairly quickly.
Firefighters reported the fire could have been a lot worse, as there was propane tanks located inside the garage.
The garage was destroyed, some sheds damaged and a vehicle saw some heat damage from the fire.
No injuries was reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
