Rhonda Rae (Leffler) Petrokovich was granted her angel wings on October 2, 2020. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Rhonda had touched.
Rhonda was born to Carl and Lucille Small Leffler on May 2, 1954. Rhonda was independent, sassy, and a blessing to everyone whose life she entered. She married Ricky Lee Petrokovich on August 13th, 2005 and happily lived in a tight knit little neighborhood in Bethalto, IL. Everyone who knew her, loved her.
Rhonda loved hunting and eating mushrooms with her hubby, and was an avid fan of both the St Louis Cardinals and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Rhonda is survived by her loving husband Ricky Lee, her mother Lucille Leffler of Blakesburg, IA, brothers David (Kim) Leffler, and Denny (Denise) Leffler of Ottumwa, and sister Shelly (Steve) Feldmann of Pleasant Hill. Her bonus sons, Joe (Sarah) Petrokovich of Wood River, IL and Shane (Brittany) Petrokovich of Bethalto, IL, grandkids Halee, Daniel, Little Ricky, Hunter, and Owen, and many nieces, nephews, best friends, Nellie Briggeman and Cindy Reis and her puppy, Ozzy. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Carl Leffler.
Limited open visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home.
Private funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Alexander officiating. For those not able to attend the service, you may watch the service live from the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be in Blakesburg Cemetery.
