Donna Jean Gatlin-Mollenhauer, 67, of Ottumwa passed away peacefully October 15, 2026 at the home of her daughter.
She was born September 5, 1959 in Ottumwa to Robert Eugene and Velma Vera Chambers Surber. She married Thomas Mollenhauer September 30, 2013.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, Donna earned her nursing license while living in Arizona. She also worked at Caseys General Store.
Donna enjoyed her flowers and spending time with her dog, Bella. She was spontaneous, loved to have fun as well as spend time with her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband, Thomas; her children, Nichole (Damon Lord) Gatlin and Jennifer (Guy) Wilcox; grandchildren, Alyssa, Alex, Quoia, Brooklyn and Kody; a great grandson, Elijah; her siblings Linda Gatlin (Tony) and Thomas Surber (Judy).
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul Surber; and a sister, Susan McClurg.
