Mahaska Health is recognizing Lacey Gardener, RN, of Labor and Delivery as its August 2026 DAISY Award honoree.
Gardener was selected for the compassionate care, reassurance and kindness she provides to patients and their families.
“Lacey brings compassion, calm, and dedication to every patient and family she cares for,” said Erica Clair, BSN, RN, Mahaska Health Director of Labor and Delivery. “Her ability to provide both exceptional nursing care and support is appreciated, and we are grateful to have her as part of our Labor and Delivery team.”
Mahaska Health says Gardener’s dedication and passion for nursing are reflected in the care she provides each day. The hospital also received numerous DAISY Award nominations recognizing nurses throughout the organization.
The DAISY Award is an international program that recognizes nurses for the skill, compassion and extraordinary care they provide to patients and families.
