Cathy Ann Lindsey, 63, of Ottumwa died at 10:32 a.m. August 26, 2026 at Ridgewood Specialty Care.
She was born June 15, 1963 in Ottumwa to Earl and Darlene L. Davis Richards. Cathy married Mark Lindsey July 4, 2007 and he preceded her in death March 21, 2011.
She worked at Maid Rite and Executive Cleaners.
Cathy loved spending time with animals, going to rummage sales and gambling.
Surviving are her children, Kristi (Rick) Slaymaker; a granddaughter, Sophia Slaymaker; significant other, Tom Wright; siblings, Michael Richards (Koni), Stephen Richards and her twin brother, Craig (Tina) Richards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a stillborn brother, David Richards; sister, Melba Beadle.
Visitation will be open at 11 a.m. Tuesday September 1st with family present to greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday September 2nd at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Schlotter officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
