A southeast Iowa man will hold a trio of events this weekend to kick off his campaign for the Iowa House.
Tom O’Donnell is seeking the District 87 seat and will open his campaign in Mount Pleasant at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church at 1:10 PM. Later at 2:00 PM, O’Donnell plans on stopping by the Fairfield Public Library in Fairfield. The last planned stop is the Bentonsport Stone House in Van Buren County at 4:00 PM.
At each stop, O’Donnell will speak briefly and share social time with voters over cookies and beverages.
This is the second time O’Donnell is seeking the Iowa House. In 2024, O’Donnell was defeated by Jeff Shipley, the current representative of District 87.
