Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress (GOPIP) is proud to announce the 4th Annual Lean In Conference, a regional leadership event focused on advancing women’s leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and community. The conference will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Lean In is designed to elevate, inspire, and equip current and emerging women leaders with the tools, insights, and connections needed to thrive in their careers and communities. The timing of the event reflects its alignment with International Women’s Day, a global celebration honoring women’s achievements and ongoing efforts toward equality at work, at home, and in society.
“We have worked very diligently to ensure that we are bringing not only an impactful event to our region, but one with some of the most successful leaders in our state from which those in attendance can learn,” said Marc Roe, Executive Director of GOPIP. “I firmly believe that in order to grow our communities, we must ensure that every person not only has a seat at the table, but an equal voice. It’s our goal with this conference for those up-and-comers in attendance—and future generations alike—to gain power and knowledge from this experience and forge a path to success in their own careers and communities.”
Past Lean In Conferences have brought together influential speakers, breakout sessions, and meaningful discussions designed to build confidence, promote inclusion, and strengthen professional networks across southeastern Iowa. Participants can expect keynote presentations, panel conversations, interactive workshops, and opportunities to connect with business and community leaders throughout
the day.
