Linda Jean Berry, 83, of Ottumwa, died at 6:02 a.m. July 9, 2025 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.
She was born February 12, 1942 in Ottumwa to Willard and Eva Deitch Morgan.
Linda worked at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in insurance billing and for Busy Bee Laundromat.
She was a former member of Munterville Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda was on dialysis for 13 years and enjoyed making new friends at the dialysis center.
Surviving are her children, Julie Berry (Sean Fuller) of Ottumwa and Douglas (Deb) Morgan of Glastonbury, CT; 6 grandchildren, Levi Ulin, Dylan Ulin, Alyson (Tyler) Goodell, Ryan Berry, Katie Morgan and Lydia Morgan; 2 great-grandchildren, Gracie Goodell and Jaxson Goodell; a brother, Edwin K. Morgan of Lubbock, TX; longtime friend, Rosemary Peterson; and close friend, Goldean Flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her body has been cremated. A time to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
