The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has announced the arrest of 65-year-old Charles Austin Spiller of Keokuk on multiple drug-related charges following the execution of a search warrant at his residence.
Spiller faces the following charges:
- Possession of marijuana with intent to deliver – Class D felony
- Iowa drug tax stamp violation – Class D felony
- Possession of drug paraphernalia – Simple misdemeanor
Authorities say a significant quantity of marijuana was recovered during the search, which was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation. The Keokuk Police Department assisted in the operation.
Spiller is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Lee County Narcotics Task Force receives partial funding from the U.S. Department of Justice and the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
