Pella Regional Health Center and Knoxville Hospital & Clinics have begun construction on the South Central Iowa Radiation Center, a $14 million facility set to open in 2027 on the Pella Regional campus. The 7,800-square-foot center will offer radiation oncology services, enhancing local access to cancer treatment for patients across Marion County and surrounding areas. The project is a collaborative effort between the two hospitals and includes a capital campaign to help fund construction.
