A residential structure northeast of Unionville was declared a total loss following a fire that broke out shortly before noon on Monday.
The fire occurred at a home located on 437th Street, just off Highway T61, approximately three miles northeast of Unionville. The residence is owned by Trey Seavey.
No one was inside the home at the time the fire was discovered. Upon arrival, firefighters were met with heavy flames, which witnesses said were shooting from the roof of the structure.
Multiple fire departments responded to the scene to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
