The Warriors captured the Region XI Championship Saturday night at home versus rival Southeastern, 85-72, beating the Blackhawks a second time this season. IHCC had six players end the game in double figures, led by the 18 points of sophomore forward Ahren Freeman. Indian Hills has won 12 straight games heading into Saturday’s North Central District Championship where they’ll host the Region XIII champions: Dawson Buccaneers. The Bucs beat IHCC in last year’s District title matchup, 68-67, ending the Warriors’ season.
