Brenda and the team at Meridian Credit Union in Ottumwa, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Ottumwa Soccer player Blythe Schmidt, our 101.5 KKSI-FM Athlete of the Week!
Schmidt is a freshman goalkeeper for the Bulldogs and last Friday versus Des Moines North she made eight saves during regulation which ended in a 1-1 tie. The game was decided by penalty kicks and Schmidt made a key stop to help Ottumwa win its third straight match.
