The Wapello County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to meet Tuesday, October 20, at 9:30 a.m. in the third-floor meeting room at the Wapello County Courthouse.
The meeting agenda includes routine county business, financial approvals and discussions on proposed ordinances.
Supervisors will consider approving the October 6 regular meeting minutes, work session minutes and special meeting minutes, along with bills totaling $613,502.48.
Other agenda items include a resolution regarding the Iowa Department of Agriculture pesticide report, approval of the Recorder’s Office document locator subscription, and a proposed high-load energy consumption industry ordinance work session.
The board will also consider a case involving a gravel road discussion held June 30, 2026, which was acknowledged as having occurred without proper notice. Supervisors are scheduled to read and formally adopt a resolution concerning the improper notice.
Officer reports will include the Recorder’s first-quarter fiscal year 2026-27 report of fees collected and the Treasurer’s September 2026 investment report.
The agenda also includes discussion of a renewable energy ordinance and setting a public hearing on the proposal.
A public forum is scheduled near the end of the meeting. The board may agree to hear public comments upon request, with comments limited to two minutes.
