Beginning Monday, October 5, 2026, DP Plumbing will close the 1500 block of North Van Buren Avenue to allow for sewer repair work.
As part of the project, concrete removed during the repair will be replaced immediately after the work is completed rather than using granular backfill.
The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately one week, weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes while the work is underway. Drivers traveling near the construction area should use caution and watch for workers and equipment.
The roadway will reopen once the sewer repair and concrete replacement are completed.
