State Farm Agent Shawn McCarty, serving southeast Iowa from his office at 604 W Burlington in Fairfield, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Fairfield Tennis players Mareyn and Kinzley Dunkin, our 104.3 KRKN Athlete of the Week!
The sisterly doubles duo won all four of their matches – dropping only one set in the process – to win the Class 1A Region 5 championship. Senior Mareyn and freshman Kinzley advanced to the state doubles tournament, which will begin on October 7th.
Our KRKN Athlete of the Week feature is made possible thanks to the generosity of Shawn McCarty and State Farm Insurance, plus the cooperation of our area schools. This is a great accomplishment and one to be very proud of. Please join us in congratulating Mareyn and Kinzley Dunkin! Shawn McCarty and Ottumwa Radio Group wish you continued success in your athletic and educational endeavors.
