Aviation enthusiasts will have an opportunity to experience the skies after dark through a unique flight training opportunity offered by Indian Hills Community College this holiday season.
The nighttime flight experience will be available on Mondays and Tuesdays from November 2 through December 15, giving participants a chance to see Ottumwa illuminated below while experiencing the excitement of nighttime flying.
The program is designed for those who are curious about aviation as well as individuals interested in taking their first steps toward becoming a pilot.
Participants must register and pay to reserve their spot. After registration is completed, a flight instructor will contact each participant to schedule their flight.
