Brushed by Jude in Oskaloosa will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Lunch and Kindness Rocks Project painting event Thursday, October 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will be held at Brushed by Jude, located at 116 1st Ave. E. in Oskaloosa, and will benefit the Mahaska Health Foundation.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a light lunch while taking part in the Kindness Rocks Project, which encourages people to paint and decorate rocks with positive and inspirational messages.
The event is free and open to everyone. Free-will donations will be accepted, with all donations going directly to the Mahaska Health Foundation.
Guests are welcome to stay for as long as they would like. Seating is limited to 30 people, so advance registration is encouraged.
