The Wapello County Farmers Market is back this Monday afternoon, offering local residents a chance to shop for fresh produce, homemade goods, and more.

The market will be open from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. near the dog park. With only three markets remaining this season, shoppers are encouraged to stop by and support local vendors.

Today’s offerings include tomatoes, bell peppers, sweet banana peppers, snackable peppers, Candy Cane peppers, jalapeños, Thai hot peppers, habaneros, and Carolina Reaper peppers. Shoppers can also find eggplant, basil, bitter melon, acorn and cushaw squash, honey and honey products, sourdough breads and rolls, soaps, cookies, homemade noodles, jelly, pickles, and much more.

Some vendors accept WIC and senior vouchers, while others offer debit and credit card payment options.

Residents are invited to stop by, support local farmers and vendors, and enjoy the variety of products available at the Wapello County Farmers Market.
