The 26th Annual Mount Pleasant Marching Band Invitational brought marching bands from across the region together for an evening of competition, music, and school spirit.
Central Lee claimed first place in the combined Class 1A/2A division. Rushville-Industry finished second, followed by Wapello in third and West Burlington in fourth.
Oskaloosa took the top spot in Class 3A, with Fort Madison finishing second and Washington third. In Class 4A, Muscatine earned first place, followed by Bettendorf.
Several individual caption awards were also handed out. In Class 1A/2A, Rushville-Industry earned honors for Hornline, Drum Major, and Color Guard, while Central Lee received the Percussion award. Oskaloosa took home the Hornline, Percussion, and Drum Major awards in Class 3A, with Fort Madison earning Color Guard honors. Muscatine swept all four caption awards in Class 4A.
Central Lee was also presented with the Lennis Moore Fan Appreciation Award after bringing 128 fans to the event.
The evening concluded with an exhibition performance by the Mount Pleasant High School Marching Band, which showcased its 2026 production, “Embrace the Moment.”
