Family and friends of the late Nadine Greiner have donated more than $5,000 in her memory to Little Eagles Childcare in Keota, according to a social media post from the Keokuk County Childcare Network.
Greiner devoted more than 20 years to teaching preschool, and children held an especially special place in her heart. She was also a strong supporter of the effort to bring childcare to Keota, making Little Eagles a meaningful and fitting recipient for her memorial gifts.
The Keokuk County Childcare Network expressed deep gratitude for the generosity of Greiner’s family and friends. “We are incredibly honored that her family chose Little Eagles as a place to carry on that legacy,” the organization said, extending a special thank you to her husband Paul and the entire Greiner family, as well as everyone who gave in her memory.
The gifts will help create a place where young children can learn, grow, and be cared for — a legacy the organization said reflects Greiner’s lifelong love for children and her commitment to her community.
