William Penn University, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Van Buren County Football player Will Cocherell, our 1240 AM/102.7 FM KBIZ Athlete of the Week!
In one of the more thrilling wins of Week 2, Cocherell threw a 37 yard touchdown pass with 56 seconds left to help lift the Warriors past Columbus 26-25. The senior had 168 yards passing along with 58 yards rushing and a score in the win.
Our KBIZ Athlete of the Week feature is made possible thanks to the generosity of William Penn University and the cooperation of our area schools. This is a great accomplishment and one to be very proud of. Please join us in congratulating Will Cocherell! All of us at Ottumwa Radio Group wish you continued success in your athletic and educational endeavors.
