John Deere is introducing an artificial intelligence tool the company says will help farmers put their data to work.
Deere digital solutions director of product management Kevin Seidl calls JD an AI assistant.
“JD takes the power of AI technologies and couples them with the knowledge and intelligence that John Deere has, but also the knowledge, intelligence and data that farmers have collected on their operations.”
He tells Brownfield JD enables farmers to tap into valuable field, machine, and operational data.
“Looking at trends over time, changes season to season across fields or within a field, and trying to understand how those have an impact on yield. JD makes all of those much simpler and accessible to everyone.”
Deere is opening an Early Access Program for JD, and Seidl says the AI assistant will become more widely available later this year through Operations Center.
