The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the return of the Fairfield Harvest Rush Gravel Ride on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, as one of eight stops on the 2026 Iowa Gravel Series, according to a press release from the Chamber.
The event is expected to draw more than 150 riders from five states to Fairfield for a day of scenic gravel riding through the area’s rural roads, with riders also spending time in the community and getting to know local businesses. The event is designed to be welcoming to both experienced gravel racers and those newer to the sport.
The Chamber is currently seeking local sponsors to help make the event possible. Sponsorship gives businesses an opportunity to support healthy living and outdoor recreation while putting their name in front of visiting riders, families, and supporters.
