Donald Duane Scott, 95, of Ottumwa died August 29, 2026 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
He was born February 10, 1931 in Ottumwa to Ervin and Mae Albright Scott. He married Ellagene Williamson October 1, 1950.
A 1949 graduate of Cantril High School, Don moved to Ottumwa in 1956. While living in Ottumwa he owned and operated River Valley Feed Company. Moving to Branson, MO in 1991 Don and his wife owned Melody’s Boutique for 16 years.
He was a member of First Chrisitan Church in Ottumwa for 30 years.
Don enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and doing yardwork. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Surviving is his wife, Ellagene; a special friend who was like a daughter, Connie (Mark) Hammersley-Wilson; special friends, Connie (Steve) Loven, Mark Hogue, Pam McEntire.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Melody Watson; son, Michael Scott; son-in-law, Mark Watson.
His body has been cremated. A time to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
