Main Street Ottumwa invites local entrepreneurs, business owners, community leaders, and residents to attend the next Business Brew, a quarterly networking mixer designed to connect current and prospective business owners, vendors, policymakers, and customers in a relaxed, social atmosphere.
The September Business Brew will be held on Thursday, September 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the MCG office, 419 Church Street in Ottumwa.
This month, MCG is serving as both the event sponsor and host, giving attendees an opportunity to connect with one another while also getting a closer look at a local company whose work is centered on keeping people and businesses connected. MCG will provide brisket
and pork sliders from Bubba Qs for attendees.
“Business Brew is all about creating connections, so it makes perfect sense to have MCG as both our sponsor and host this month,” said Kris Patrick, Executive Director of Main Street Ottumwa. “Their work helps connect our community every day, and we’re grateful for their
continued support of an event that does the same thing in a more personal way.”
Business Brew offers an informal setting where professionals and community members can share ideas, build partnerships, and learn more about the businesses and organizations shaping Ottumwa’s future. There is no formal program, making it easy for attendees to drop in,
meet new people, and strengthen existing relationships.
