Iowa Farm Bureau president Brent Johnson says he’s heard members of Congress say E15 can’t pass on its own, while others say it can.
“So when you look at the makeup of the Senate, I do think we have some bipartisan support there. Obviously politics gets in the way here a little bit.”
He tells Brownfield at this point it appears a standalone E15 bill is more likely.
“But there’s a couple vehicles that may show up in the future (so) maybe we can get it attached and get it passed.”
