Court documents show a man is facing multiple charges following an investigation into allegations of child sexual abuse.
Multiple charges have been filed against Zachary Schuster, 32, Knoxville, following an investigation into allegations that he sexually abused an 11-year-old child over a period of several years.
According to criminal complaints, the child reported the alleged abuse to law enforcement on June 3, 2026. Investigators allege the incidents occurred at two residences between the summer of 2022 and June 1, 2026.
Court documents allege the abuse began when the child was between 8 and 9 years old and continued over several years. Authorities allege the incidents involved sexual contact and other inappropriate touching.
Schuster has been charged with multiple counts of Second-Degree Sexual Abuse, a Class B felony, and multiple counts of Indecent Contact with a Child, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Schuster is currently detained in the Marion County Jail on a $100,000 Cash only bond.
Preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 9th.
