Maelynn Marie Walls, infant daughter of Bailey Van Vark and Gage Walls, was born and welcomed into Heaven on June 28, at 11:10 a.m., 2026 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
She is survived by her mother and father; her maternal grandmothers, Connie Van Vark and Shauna Van Vark; her paternal grandparents, Joshua Walls and Shayleen Linnville and her aunts and uncles, Jordan Simpson, Hailey (Noah) Van Vark, Ryot Van Vark, Colton Van Vark and Kayla Van Vark.
Maelynn was preceded in death by her grandfather, Douglas Van Vark.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Friends cemetery in Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
