Some of the biggest names in professional disc golf will be in Indianola next week as the Disc Golf Pro Tour returns to Pickard Park for the 2026 DiscMania Challenge.
The tournament, scheduled for August 7-9, will feature top professional players from around the world competing over three days. Organizers say the event is designed to offer more than just competition, giving spectators a chance to enjoy a full weekend of activities.
Fans will be able to visit a vendor village featuring disc golf retailers and exhibitors, play a free nine-hole spectator course, and enjoy food from Hy-Vee and Lachele’s food trucks. Additional attractions include an ace race, a floating disc “throw for dough” challenge, and opportunities to meet professional players, collect autographs, and take photos throughout the weekend.
According to Disc Golf Pro Tour Retail and Partnerships Director Ty Tannatt, creating an interactive experience for fans is a key part of the event, making it easy for newcomers and longtime players alike to enjoy everything the tournament has to offer.
The DiscMania Challenge takes place August 7-9 at Pickard Park in Indianola.
