The Pella Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Aleigha Fynaardt, who was reported missing after her last known contact on June 16, 2026.
According to information from the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse, Fynaardt is described as a white female standing 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 123 pounds. She has black hair and blue eyes.
Authorities are encouraging anyone who may have seen Fynaardt or has information about her whereabouts to contact the Pella Police Department or the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse.
Officials remind the public not to take action themselves if they believe they have located the missing teen. Instead, they are asked to gather as much information as possible, such as the exact location, vehicle information, or other identifying details, and immediately notify law enforcement.
Anyone with information regarding Fynaardt’s disappearance is urged to contact the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation’s Missing Person Information Clearinghouse at 515-725-6036.
