Linda Faye Bogle, 81, of Agency died at 5:20 p.m. June 22, 2026 at her home.
She was born July 17, 1944 in Ottumwa to Charles Seldon and Mary Louise Ulmer Rose. She married Garland Gale Bogle October 21, 1958.
Linda grew up around the Ottumwa and Drakesville area. When her husband, Gale, returned from the military they moved to Quincy, IL where they lived for 7 years. While living in Quincy she worked for Motorola. Moving back to Davis County, she helped her husband farm and milk cows for 20 years. They also worked at Herrmann’s Greenhouse from 1987 until 2005. Above all Linda was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
She enjoyed crafting, reading, playing BINGO and visiting casinos. Linda was a fantastic cook, baking peach and pumpkin pies, making homemade noodles, fudge and her special gravy. She also enjoyed gardening and canning.
Surviving is her husband, Gale; children, Mary (Jeff) Tharp of Agency, Rod (Lori) Bogle of Centerville, Crystal Overstreet (Matt Goodrich) of Keosauqua and Elizabeth (Corey) Zmolek of Bloomfield; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Patricia (Doran) Bollman of Pulaski, Vicki (Tim) Lohmann and James Rose both of Mt. Pleasant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Judy Bolin; grandson, Justen Zmolek; son-in-law, Rollin Overstreet; and her best friend, Carol Blackwell.
Her body has been cremated and services are not planned at this time.
