The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is looking back on a successful 2026 Blast Off Golf Tournament, held June 5th across two host courses, after a rainy start and brief delay gave way to a memorable day of golf and community connection.

The Fairfield Golf and Country Club welcomed 20 teams for the men’s tournament, while The Walton Club hosted 11 teams for the women’s tournament. The evening before the tournament, the Fairfield Golf and Country Club also hosted a Par-Tee that the Chamber said set the tone for a fantastic tournament experience and gave participants a chance to connect ahead of the big day.

Chamber Director Mendy McAdams expressed gratitude to everyone involved. “We are incredibly thankful,” she said. “Events like this don’t happen without people showing up, pitching in, and believing in what we do. This community continues to show up in the best ways.”

Tournament Committee Chair Davis Lowenberg of First MainStreet Insurance echoed those sentiments. “Even with the weather delay, the energy and support from our community never wavered,” he said. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see so many businesses and individuals come together, not just for a great day of golf, but to invest in the continued growth and success of Fairfield.”

The women’s tournament featured a wine pull generously supported by Financial Integrators and Vino Del Mundo. A silent calcutta also proved to be a highlight of the day, with three participants ultimately sharing in the winnings.
