A Wapello County woman is facing charges after authorities say she violated multiple no-contact orders by entering a protected person’s residence.

According to court records, the Wapello County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 600 block of Ashland Road shortly after midnight on April 24th for a reported no-contact order violation.

Authorities allege that 32-year-old Jessica Boutott of Ottumwa was found at the residence of the protected party. Court documents state the victim contacted 911 after reporting that Boutott had damaged or destroyed personal property inside the home.

Deputies later located Boutott in the basement of the residence, according to the criminal complaint.

Court records further indicate there are currently ten active no-contact orders in place naming Boutott as the defendant and the victim as the protected party.

A warrant connected to the case was served on April 27th. Boutott is scheduled to appear for a pretrial conference on May 21st.

She is currently being held in the Wapello County Jail on a $1,000 cash-only bond.

Boutott has been charged with violation of a no-contact/protective order, a simple misdemeanor.
