UPDATE (5-26-26): Lieutenant Jason Bell of the Ottumwa Police Department says Lubin was found safe on the evening of May 22 and was returned to her family.

The Ottumwa Police Department is searching for a child who went missing earlier this week.
Authorities say the family of 12-year-old Anshelina Lubin reported her missing. According to officials, Lubin was last seen on May 20th in the area of Bonita Avenue and Clearview Street in Ottumwa.
Lubin is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a dress, although the color and style are unknown at this time.
