State Farm Agent Shawn McCarty, serving southeast Iowa from his office at 604 W Burlington in Fairfield, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Spencer McCready of Fairfield Track and Field, our 104.3 KRKN Athlete of the Week!
The senior qualified for a pair of events in the State Meet during a state qualifying meet in Mount Pleasant. McCready took the top spot in the long jump with a leap of 22 feet, 1.25 inches. He also finished second in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.64 seconds.
