After considering the forecast for severe weather, Main Street Ottumwa is postponing its Franks a Lot Volunteer Gratitude BBQ from April 17 to May 1. The event will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is open to current volunteers as well as anyone interested in learning more about getting involved with Main Street Ottumwa’s work in the community.
“The staff and board are very excited to introduce this event and say thank you to our volunteers,” said Kris Patrick, Executive Director of Main Street Ottumwa. “We consulted with Wapello County Emergency Management and made the difficult decision to be patient an reschedule the event.”

Main Street Ottumwa will still host its Business Brew networking event at The Owl’s Nest tonight, April 16, from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
