Deanna “Anna” Ramos, 27, of Oskaloosa, died Thursday, April 9, 2026, of injuries from an auto accident. She was born on November 22, 1998, in Brawley, California, the daughter of Alejandro Ramos and Norma Saenz. When Anna was young her family moved to Ottumwa where she attended school. She later moved to Oskaloosa with her mom and sister. She was currently working at Kwik Star and Jimmy Johns in Oskaloosa and attending William Penn University. Anna enjoyed adventure, she loved to explore new places and meet new people, she could start a conversation with anyone. She was a talented artist and enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts including making jewelry. She was an animal lover and adored her border collie. She was a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt. Her great sense of humor, infectious laugh, and bright smile will be missed by all who knew her.
Her family includes her mother, Norma Saenz of Oskaloosa; her father, Alejandro Ramos of El Centro, California; her sister, Alex Ramos (Ali Cano) of Oskaloosa; two brothers, Junior Ordaz and Tatum Findley both of Oskaloosa; a niece and nephew, Lucas Cano and Bedahlia Cano; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 5-7 in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa. As was Deanna’s wish her body will be cremated following the visitation. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
