The Bridge View Center is pleased to welcome Tru Rev Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) back to where it all started! On Saturday, May 2, 7 p.m., Tru Rev MMA will mark its 64 th event in 17 years. Several Iowa-born fighters will enter the cage, as will several rising star-athletes. General admission tickets $29. A limited number of reserved, VIP seating is still available at $59. In the Lightweight class, Ottumwa’s own Jesse “Bigrig” Hannam, is pitted against Ames, Iowa’s Jake “The Saiyan” Bower. In the Welterweight class, fighting out of Manchester, Iowa, is Spencer Oberbroeckling against Missouri’s Clarkston Stith, in Stith’s highly anticipated professional debut. Stith brings a 5-0-0 amateur record to the cage. A champion’s return to the cage – Oberbroeckling took home the championship title at Tru Rev 55 in 2023.
Ottumwa’s own Jaya Buban will face Leena Krishnan for the Women’s Flyweight Championship. Buban, who will be 21 years old by the time of the fight, currently has an overall 4-2-0 record. Krishnan hails from Chicago, Ill., is 29 years-old, and also currently has a 4-2-0 record. Don’t miss the action and the elite athleticism coming to Bridge View Saturday, May 2!
