Thursday April 2nd beginning at four p.m. in cooperation with Food Bank of Iowa, the Legacy Foundation and of course the awesome Volunteers.
This monthly event will take place at 2417 Emma St. (Emergency Management Location).
The event is open to all Veterans and surviving spouses. All first time, participants need to provide Name, address and proof of service for themselves or their deceased spouse. Veterans that. Have registered in July of 2025 need only provide their name.(food bank requirement of re-registration every July for all participants)
Veterans picking up for other veterans are required to provide contact information including phone number of the veterans they are picking up for (maximum of 4, including themselves).
Please do Not line up until 3:30 p.m.! To do so, causes a problem and hazard with traffic in the area.
Also on April 2nd at 8 a.m. Tune in to KBIZ 1240 A.M. radio and listen to Ellis Codjoe’s Morning show for the monthly broadcast of “Veterans Corner” with Deb & Don.
They will share the upcoming menu for the distribution. And also useful information for all veterans.
