Jaden Eugene Williams, known affectionately by his loved ones as Pewie, was a rare gem who shone brightly in our lives. Born on August 9, 1999, in Oskaloosa, IA.
Jaden was a loving, caring, adventurous soul who was also extremely blunt. He was a loyal friend, a loving son and brother, and a witty character who could always coax a laugh out of the sternest face. Jaden made his mark as a laborer in the construction industry. His hands were his tools, and he adored any job that allowed him to get dirty and keep busy. His love for physical work was a testament to his robust spirit and unyielding determination. His passion for music, comedy, and books added a layer of depth to his vibrant personality. Jaden was a regular attendee at the Kirkville Community Church, where his faith and love for God were strengthened. He once said, “I feel sorry for you because you can only see me for who I was in my addiction of the past and not for who I am today.” This statement was a testament to his strength and determination to grow and evolve. To quote from the book of Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Jaden lived this verse, constantly renewing his strength and soaring high like an eagle.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his mother and father Renee (Chris) Davis, twin sister Malia (Randy Kellar) Williams, sisters Shanae (Connor) Crumes and Lily Davis, brother Gunner Davis, grandparents Laura Whitehead and Sharon (Jim) Davis, and plenty of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Papa Jim Whitehead.
