The Van Buren County Hospital Community Services Center is excited to announce the launch of a Blessing Box, a community pantry designed to provide local residents with access to essential food and household items.
The Blessing Box was created with care and skill by students in the Van Buren County Community School District construction classes, highlighting the power of community collaboration.
This pantry is open to anyone who may need a little extra support. It is stocked with non-perishable food items and basic necessities. The concept is simple: “Take what you need. Leave what you can.”
Community members who wish to contribute are encouraged to donate canned goods, hygiene products, and other shelf-stable essentials. Please ensure items are non-perishable, unopened, and not expired. Together, the community can help ensure that no neighbor goes without.
The Blessing Box is located in the Community Services Center parking lot at 308 Mulberry St., Keosauqua, IA. For questions or additional information, please call 319-293-8728.
The Van Buren County Hospital thanks the community for their continued support and looks forward to seeing the Blessing Box serve as a helpful resource for neighbors in need.
