The Pella Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred in Pella on January 24, 2026. Through this ongoing investigation, officers have identified individuals of interest who are believed to be working together as part of an organized group. Information gathered so far suggests this group may be active not only in Pella, but also in other communities and possibly other states.
Pella Police are aware of a recent news release from the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin, which announced criminal charges against four individuals following a burglary investigation in that area. According to Wisconsin authorities, the suspects are believed to have targeted business owners of Asian descent across Wisconsin and other parts of the Midwest.
At this time, no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed related to the Pella burglary. The investigation remains active. Pella Police are working closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to determine whether there is a connection between the Wisconsin cases and the incident reported in Pella.
