A Riverside man accused of multiple sex-related felonies is set to stand trial later this spring after earlier court dates were postponed.

According to court filings, 51-year-old Jason Bex now has a pretrial conference scheduled for March 3, with jury selection slated for March 24 at the Washington County Courthouse in Washington. The case had originally been scheduled for trial in mid-December before being continued.

Authorities say Bex was taken into custody last May, when bond was set at $1 million. He faces a total of fifteen felony counts, including five counts of second-degree sexual abuse, five counts of lascivious acts with a child, and five counts of incest. Investigators allege the offenses involved a victim younger than 14 and occurred multiple times over a period of roughly three years.

Records also indicate he had previously been placed on the sex offender registry following four convictions in 2012 for assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.

Bex remains held in the Washington County Jail as he awaits upcoming court proceedings.
