Angela DeaAnne Short, 63, of Ottumwa died at 8:02 a.m. February 5, 2026 at Good Samaritan Society Ottumwa.
She was born January 26, 1963, in Ottumwa to Jack Edward and Betty J. Jaster Short.
Angie graduated from Rock Ridge High School in Edginton, IL. Being Aunt Angie was one of her greatest joys, always cheering them on, present with endless love, attention, and a listening ear. Angie was a loyal and compassionate pet owner, she treated her pets as family and loved them with her whole heart.
Surviving are her 3 brothers, Andy (Suz) Short of Durant, IA, Pat (Dereca) Short and Zac (Jess) Short both of Ottumwa; nieces and nephews, Cortney, Scott, Wes, Ashley, Brynn, Hayden, Laney, Maeryn; and numerous great nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per her wishes, her body has been cremated, and there will be no services at this time.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Humane Society.
