January 1, 2026 — Ottumwa Regional Health Center (ORHC) is proud to announce the arrival of its first baby of the New Year.
A healthy baby boy, Sycomore, made his grand entrance on January 1, 2026, at 9:24 a.m., weighing 9 pounds, 3 ounces. He was delivered by ORHC OB/GYN Dr. McIntyre.
Hospital staff were delighted to welcome Sycomore as ORHC’s first New Year’s baby of 2026, marking a joyful start to the year for both his family and the medical team who assisted with his delivery.
