James Thomas Six, 52, of Ottumwa died January 13, 2026.
He was born March 7, 1973 in Ottumwa to John E and Ella Louise Applegate Six Jr. Jamie married Gina McRoy January 6, 1999.
Jamie earned a degree in welding and was an iron worker for American Piping Group. He enjoyed going to auctions, working on cars, playing frisbee golf and BINGO.
Surviving is his wife, Gina; 4 children, Brett Six, Ashley Six, Brandon Six and Erin Six; 2 stepsons, Timothy McRoy and Andrew Wyatt; 4 grandchildren, Delaney, Diesel, Dean and Franklin; his father, John Six Jr.; and his dog, Daisy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Six; a brother, Steve Six; his dog and best friend, Lily.
His body has been cremated. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday January 21st at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Mel Kendall officiating. Family will be present to greet friends one hour prior to the service.
